THE ACTS
STORY

We believe that business, alongside government, faith-based organizations, non-profits, and private citizens have a fundamental responsibility to solve the many social problems we face as a nation and worldwide.  That’s why ACTS continuously examines the opportunities available in the marketplace to develop unique strategies for acquiring a substantial roster of joint venture and strategic partners, and a loyal customer base dedicated to providing continuous revenue support for their favorite cause.

We assist with the financial needs of charitable and non-profit organizations through innovative solutions based on time-honored values…integrity, responsibility, professionalism and honesty.  These standards are uniting individuals, businesses, and charities in partnership across American and around the world.

“Our future will be determined by the investment we make in our people today.  And through your partnership with ACTS, we can, together foster the hope of a finer quality of life for more people at home and abroad.”

-- R. Michael Buehler, Founder

Core Values

ACTS is a faith-based company and as such operates in conformity with Christian-oriented beliefs centered around biblical principles. ACTS corporate decisions are based upon purpose-driven initiatives which subscribe to biblically derived values including integrity, excellence, spiritual growth, and community impact.

While the Company boldly and transparently proclaims the Christian faith as part of its core values, ACTS leadership, employees, joint venture partners, strategic partners, corporate sponsors, affiliates, suppliers or others associated with the Company are encouraged to exhibit a non-judgmental attitude and a spirit of openness, accepting persons of other religious doctrines and/or non-religious doctrines not in agreement with the Company's core values and statements of faith.
Core Value #1
We value healthy, God-honoring relationships. We strive to promptly resolve personal conflicts while promoting a culture that embraces diversity of opinion and rewards helpful, open communication.
"By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another" (John13:35, NIV)

Core Value #2
We value a passion for work, not for its own sake, but in order to be of service to others.  Through our work, we offer products and services that meet the real needs of our customers, always doing what is right and thus laying up treasures in heaven.
"But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also (Matthew 6:20-21, NIV).

Core Value #3
We value innovation and creativity and welcome the necessary ambiguity that follows. We strive to press on toward the high calling of Christ Jesus, embracing the purposeful, continuous change this may require of us.
"And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit" (2 Corinthians 3:18, NIV).

Core Value #4
We value individual and team accountability. We strive to build up one another, holding each other to the highest levels of integrity, honesty, fairness, and service.
"For you know that we dealt with each of you as a father deals with his own children, encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory" (1 Thessalonians 2:11-12, NIV).

Core Value #5
We value the uniqueness of every person in our organization. We strive to maximize one another’s effectiveness by putting the interests of others before our own. We honor the commitment, diligence, and skill we see in others.
"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others" (Philippians 2:3-4, NIV).

Core Value #6
We value life balance. We strive to help one another maintain healthy commitments to family, ministry, and work. We seek to create a work environment where these commitments are encouraged and enabled and we try to always keep the finish line in sight.
"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever" (1 Corinthians 9:24-25, NIV).

Supply Chain Transparency

ACTS is dedicated to conducting business in a lawful and ethical manner. It is our expectation that our suppliers and partners also conduct themselves in such a manner.

We comply with laws regarding slavery and human trafficking in the countries in which we do business and expect that our direct suppliers also comply with such laws. Accordingly, we consider these rights issues when we assess potential suppliers. Our supplier guidelines state that our suppliers must not use any form of forced, bonded, indentured or prison labor, that all work must be voluntary, that workers should be free to terminate their employment, and that child labor is strictly prohibited.

While ACTS does not have a formal supplier verification program with third party auditors, we require our suppliers to be in compliance with the company’s supplier guidelines. ACTS' employees who engage suppliers, vendors, or individual contractors to work on behalf of ACTS brief them on the company’s supplier guidelines.  ACTS may require direct suppliers to make a certification regarding materials incorporated into their products. ACTS may investigate suspected cases of non-compliance and may terminate contracts when a serious breach is found to have occurred.

Partner Confidentiality

ACTS employs technical and organizational measures designed to protect the integrity, confidentiality, security and availability of Partner Data, and to comply with applicable legal requirements for information security. ACTS limits access to internal systems that hold Partner Data to individuals who need access for a legitimate business purpose.
